About Us
Lakeside Concrete Cutting was founded in Newport, Maine by Earle Peters in the late 1970s. Earle moved to Maine as a union electrician working at the Sappi mill. He soon started his own electrical business, Lakeside Electric and hired his first employee in 1980. Earle had his own coring equipment and began coring for plumbing companies. By 1990 the electrical industry became more competitive and Earle saw the need for a specialty concrete removal contactor in the area. He cut his first doorway at Waldo County Hospital with rented equipment. In the 1990s, Lakeside’s name changed to Lakeside Electric & Concrete Cutting. Eventually the concrete removal business became so busy, there was no time for electrical work, except for during the winter. In 2012, Lakeside Concrete Cutting, Inc. became an s-corporation in the State of Maine. Earle’s youngest son, Ryan Peters, began working for him in High School and College. Ryan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management Technology from the University of Maine in 2006. Ryan worked in the construction industry as an engineer and project manager for three companies in Maine, Massachusetts and Maryland from 2006-2012. Ryan began taking over the family business in 2012 and became the President and sole owner in June 2015 when Earle retired. Today Ryan consistently employs a staff of 25-40 employees who typically have about seven different projects running on a daily basis.

Ryan Peters
President
Ryan Peters became interested in construction at an early age working with his father. He graduated from the University of Maine in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management Technology. Ryan worked in the construction industry as an engineer and project manager for three companies in Maine, Massachusetts and Maryland from 2006-2012. Ryan began taking over the family business in 2012 and became the President and sole owner in June 2015 when Earle retired. He lives in Brunswick with his wife Brittany and daughters Grace and Eve. Ryan enjoys spending time with his family and friends biking, swimming, skiing, and ice racing.
Nelson Carson
Vice President
Nelson Carson graduated from the University of Maine in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Before coming to Lakeside, Nelson worked in various levels of management in the lumber industry. In 2018, Nelson became Lakeside’s Demolition Project Manager. Nelson advanced Lakeside tremendously in his first year with a strong emphasis on organization overall, Nelson implemented an electronic schedule, electronic time cards, as well as spearheading our safety program and weekly internal company meetings. In early 2019, Nelson expanded Lakeside’s services to include asbestos abatement. In November of 2020 he was promoted to Vice President of the company and handles all aspects of company management. He manages 12 foreman, 10 office staff, and a field of 30-50 employees. Nelson has an OSHA 30, is Certified in Asbestos Abatement and, is Certified as an Asbestos Air Monitor. He enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and dogs.
Elliott Brigham
Concrete Cutting Project Manager
Elliott Brigham has over 30 years’ experience in the masonry aspects of the construction industry. He has been with Lakeside since the summer of 2009. Elliott estimates, schedules and manages all our concrete cutting and coring work as well as training our concrete cutting staff. Elliott typically has a staff of three concrete cutting foremen, three concrete cutting laborers and one shop mechanic working for him. We truly believe Elliott is the best in the state when it comes to concrete cutting. Elliott is up for the challenge of completing the most difficult projects. He will not only complete them; he will do so in the most efficient way without ever sacrificing safety.
Dana Codrey
Environmental Project Manager
Dana Codrey is a Project Manager with over 20 years’ experience in fire and water damage emergency response. With more than a decade of experience in asbestos, lead and mold remediation he has become a strong asset towards environmental protection. He is a licensed Mold inspector, Asbestos Supervisor, Inspector, Air Monitor and Design Consultant. He also is a Master Trainer with the Maine DEP and conducts the training for our abatement teams, both new and old.
Alexander campbell
Project Manager
Alexander Campbell is our former Administrative Assistant and newest Project Manager as of 2024. Utilizing his experience across a multitude of fields, Alexander has taken on the role of managing our latest software: Fieldwire. He uses this program to keep up-to-date on projects, train foremen, map out jobsites, document progress, and assign work to foremen. Easy to teach, eager to learn, attentive to detail, Alexander works diligently with an innovative mindset to help keep the Lakeside Cumberland office running smoothly.
Alan Dunphy
Safety Manager
Alan Dunphy has been with Lakeside Concrete Cutting since 2016. He moved quickly into a foreman’s position within the company for the next 5 years before becoming our Safety Manager. As the Safety Manager, Alan used his experience in past positions to help us better deal with safety concerns and inventory issues. He has completed the OSHA #500 trainer Course in Occupational Safety for Construction, along with an OSHA 30, and is a licensed Asbestos supervisor in the state of Maine along with holding several other Safety certifications.
Kristina Gonzalez
Senior Office Manager
Kristina Gonzalez has been with Lakeside Concrete Cutting since 2015. She holds the title of Office Manager. This includes handling accounts payable, payroll, and so much more. Kristina’s friendly communication style, good communication skills and positive outlook all keep Lakeside running. Kristina is in touch with all elements of our company from our company vehicles, cell phones, & benefits. Kristina is faced with endless requests and she possess the initiative to prioritize them and streamline her own work flow.
Trevor Lawrence
Estimator
Trevor Lawrence has been with Lakeside since 2023. He holds the position of Estimator and works diligently in many other facets of the company. Based out of the Cumberland office, Trevor holds the responsibility to walk pre-bid sites and calculate the budgets for all types of projects: selective or complete demolition, remediation or abatement; residential spaces and commercial spaces alike. Trevor enjoys the people, environment, and relationships he's built at Lakeside. And he looks forward to helping you with your project soon!
Janine Nise
Office Manager
Janine Nise has been with Lakeside Concrete Cutting & Abatement Professionals since 2020. She graduated from Purdue University Global with a master’s degree in accounting. Janine holds the position of Office Manager in the Cumberland Foreside location. She takes care of accounts receivables, collections, Google Ads and makes sure the Cumberland Foreside office runs smoothly by supporting staff and employee needs daily. Janine’s friendly demeanor, optimistic attitude, and willingness to work within a team atmosphere promote a positive work environment.
Austin Morin
Project Manager
Austin Morin has been with Lakeside Concrete Cutting & Abatement Professionals since 2023. Austin has able to tie in his previous experience in the septic field to become familiar in the space. He holds the title of Project Manager. Austin assists the concrete cutting team with job estimates, project scheduling, and proposal creation. Austin works hard to ensure that our concrete cutters have everything they need to provide consistent and quality work out in the field.
Joshua Jones
Administrative Assistant
Joshua Jones is the newest member of our team starting in 2024. He graduated from Susquehanna University in 2013 with a bachelors in Business Administration and has taken on the role of our Administrative Assistant. This includes answering phones, scheduling residential appointments, writing reports & close out packages, keeping our digital files & website up to date and so much more. His team driven attitude and friendly demeanor makes communication easy. He has a hand in most company aspects making things in our Cumberland office run more efficiently.
